Eli Khoury

Chief Executive

Eli is a strategic communications specialist and pioneer of practices acknowledged to have raised the standard of communications in the region.

He is the founder, chairman and CEO of Quantum Holding and its subsidiaries as well as the CEO of M&C Saatchi MENA.

A liberal democrat and avid participatory citizen of Lebanon, he was among the key promoters of the 2005 Cedar Revolution.

Eli also publishes Beirut’s influential web portal NOW and is a co-founder of the Lebanon Renaissance Foundation.

Adel Kanaan

Executive Director, M&C Saatchi MENA

As executive director of M&C Saatchi MENA, Adel handles the agency’s accounts and runs its operations across the region.

As a seasoned advertising veteran with over 25 years of management and marketing experience, Adel is known for his strong command of strategic planning and brand development. An agency man through and through, he has worked at McCann Erickson, JWT and Saatchi & Saatchi.

Before settling down in Beirut in 2004, he lived and worked in most major capitals across Middle East and North Africa. As a result, Adel holds invaluable insight into different populations and is considered an expert on the region and its varying sensitivities.

Adel holds an MBA in marketing from the European University in Brussels, Belgium.

Samer Younes

Executive Creative Director, M&C Saatchi MENA

Samer is M&C Saatchi MENA’s executive creative  director. He is involved in all new business plans and oversees the entire agency’s accounts across the region.

Samer began as a junior writer at Y&R. He joined the team in 1999 and never looked back, swiftly moved up the ranks as a writer and then an associate creative director. In 2003, he was appointed the Beirut office’s creative director, critically involved in the agency’s entire portfolio across all sectors including telecommunications, retail, corporate, banking and humanitarian.

Over the years he has generated copious award-winning advertisements, garnering local, regional and international acclaim.

Samer holds a master’s of advanced studies in advertising from the Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts in Beirut.

He cites books, films and football among his interests and also enjoys playing the drums, albeit at questionable hours that are not necessarily to his neighbors’ pleasure.

 

Abdo Saleh

Executive Design Director

Abdo has been Brand Central’s executive design director since 2005, in addition to the design director of Quantum Group as of 2012.

Abdo opened a small design studio in Beirut in 1982. Four years later he joined The Agency as senior art director. He then went on to become the Dubai-based regional creative of Intermarkets.  He then co-founded Identity, which soon went on win some of the most prestigious projects in the United Arab Emirates as well as awards such as the Dubai Quality Appreciation Award in 1998.

In addition to his design skills, he is a seasoned illustrator and typographer.

Abdo has an associate degree in fine arts from the Lebanese University.

Despite his hectic schedule, Abdo finds time to enrich his in-depth interest in philosophy, psychology, history, politics, science and technology. He also has a soft spot for astronomy and ice cream.

Jean-Pierre Katrib

Managing Director

Jean-Pierre joined Quantum Group in April of 2007 and is currently the Managing Director of Quantum Communications, where he leads the firm’s culture influence, reputation management and policy programs with government, institutions and corporations alike.

He holds an MA in political sociology from the Lebanese University as well as an MA in human rights and democratization from the University of Malta and the National University of Ireland, Galway.

An avid human rights defender since 2001 and a specialist in democratization issues, he was also a visiting Fikra fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy in Washington DC where he published on the critical role of electoral reforms in Lebanon’s troubled political environment.

Jean-Pierre was previously a lecturer at Sagesse University and a trainer with the Office of Regional External Programs at the American University of Beirut instructing on public speaking and media campaign management.
